Haubot Logistics

Logistic Solutions

Global Logistics for Machinery, Equipment & Industrial Assets

Asset-aware planning

We plan around the equipment, not the box. Weight distribution, lifting points, sensitivities to shock and humidity, transport permits — all priced into the route.

One accountable coordinator

Origin to destination, one team owns the plan, documentation and accountability. Underlying carriers vary by leg, but you don't navigate a broker chain — we hold the project end-to-end.

Documentation discipline

Customs paperwork, transport documents, photo evidence and inspection reports flow through a controlled process — and stay accessible if you ever need to prove what was disclosed and when.

Cross-border depth

EU, CIS, MENA, Asia and the Americas. Sanctions and dual-use screening, EX1/EXA discipline, Gulf hub for consolidation, and partners on the ground in difficult jurisdictions.

How We Deliver
  • Single-point coordination through Haubot's logistics department
  • Route design based on asset characteristics, timing, and regulatory constraints
  • Multimodal transport planning with controlled handovers
  • Documentation management across borders and jurisdictions
  • Execution monitoring from origin to final delivery
What We Handle
  • Heavy and oversized machinery
  • Industrial and production equipment
  • Project-based and non-standard shipments
  • Cross-border and intercontinental transport tasks
  • High-value assets requiring controlled logistics

Order logistics on its own, or bundle it into a transaction running through Haubot. Same logistics team — different operational shape.

Standalone logistics

  • Order us as a regular forwarder for any shipment, whether it touches Haubot or not
  • You provide cargo details, origin, destination and timeline — we quote and execute
  • Useful for relocations, supplier shipments, project moves and one-off cross-border tasks
  • Independent commercial contract; no link to a Haubot listing or auction required

Transaction-integrated logistics

  • Logistics is wired into the workflow when you buy or sell on Haubot — listing, auction, managed deal
  • Inspection reports, route plans, customs documents and delivery confirmations land in the same UnitVault as the transaction
  • Release coordination, payment milestones and logistics handoffs sequenced in one flow
  • For Haubot Managed Auctions this is the default — release, transport and documentation handled under one umbrella

Air Freight

Rapid, secure, and certified air transport

Air transport is used when project timelines, operational risks, or contractual obligations require the fastest possible delivery. This applies not only to compact equipment, but also to high-value assets where downtime is more expensive than transport itself.

Worldwide reach, local precision

We coordinate air logistics as part of a controlled process, including route selection, documentation, ground handling, and onward delivery. Every shipment is planned individually, taking into account cargo characteristics, regulatory requirements, and destination constraints.

AOG · urgent spare parts · high-value components · onboard courier · charter options

Rail Transport

Cross-Border Heavy Transport

Rail transport offers a balanced solution for moving heavy and large-scale equipment over long distances where infrastructure allows. It combines cost efficiency with stability and is particularly suitable for regional and interregional logistics.

Ideal for Bulk & Oversized Shipments

Haubot coordinates rail-based transport as part of multimodal routes, ensuring proper loading, securing, and synchronization with road transport for first and last mile delivery. Rail logistics is frequently used for machinery relocation, fleet movements, and repetitive industrial shipments.

China–EU and CIS corridors · wagon loading · transshipment at Khorgos / Dostyk · synchronised last-mile road

Sea Transport

Full Container Loads or Breakbulk

Sea transport remains the foundation of international machinery logistics. It enables the movement of heavy, oversized, and non-standard cargo across global trade routes.

Port-to-Port or Door-to-Door

We organize sea freight solutions based on the specific requirements of the asset, selecting appropriate shipment formats and coordinating port operations, handling, and documentation. Special attention is given to cargo safety, regulatory compliance, and risk management during transit.

RO-RO · flat rack · open top · breakbulk · project cargo · FCL and LCL

Road Transport

Regional & Cross-Border Trucking

Road transport plays a critical role in both regional logistics and final delivery to industrial sites, storage facilities, or project locations. It is the most flexible transport mode and often determines the overall feasibility of a logistics plan.

Ideal for Remote or Difficult Access

Haubot coordinates road transport for heavy and oversized cargo, including route assessment, permitting, and delivery planning. This ensures that equipment arrives safely and on schedule, even in locations with limited access or infrastructure constraints.

What we actually move

A few representative shipments — names are anonymised, the operational shape is real.

Used wheel loader, Belgium → Saudi Arabia

Multimodal · Road + Ocean (RO-RO)

Pre-shipment inspection at the seller's yard, EX1 export filing in Antwerp, road haulage to port, RO-RO booking, exit confirmation handled, delivery to the Riyadh end customer. Full document trail in UnitVault.

AOG aircraft part, Singapore → Houston

Air freight · Time-critical

Charter window arranged within 18 hours, ITAR/EAR screening confirmed, shock-resistant crating, customs cleared at IAH, delivered to the MRO hangar within the SLA. Standalone job, no platform listing involved.

Mining truck modules, Shaanxi → Kazakhstan

Rail + Road · Multimodal

Six oversized modules dispatched from a Chinese plant, rail to Khorgos, transfer to road, escorted to the mine site. Permits coordinated across both jurisdictions, partial assembly performed at the destination yard.

Controlled documentation across the chain

Logistics paperwork doesn't have to be a fragmented mess. When you ship with us, the document trail lives where you can use it.

UnitVault

Inspection reports, route plans, customs filings, transport documents and delivery photos hashed and stored per shipment in UnitVault — whether the shipment is part of a Haubot transaction or stands on its own. Snapshotted, shareable and tamper-evident.

Inspection

Pre-shipment condition check or destination receipt inspection on request. Outputs feed straight into the UnitVault for the shipment.

Managed deal flow

For Haubot Managed Auctions and managed sales, logistics is sequenced with payment, release and post-sale steps in one workflow — no parallel coordination needed.

Frequently asked questions

Yes. We coordinate international shipments across major trade corridors in Europe, the Middle East, Asia, the CIS and the Americas, using air, ocean, road and rail transport.
We support all major Incoterms including EXW, CPT, DAP, and FOB. Most clients choose CPT or DAP for seamless door-to-door service.
Yes. We provide full export and import customs handling in the EU, UAE, Russia, Turkey, and other regions — including transit and dual-use cargo documentation.
Yes. We offer multimodal logistics solutions: express air freight, container shipping, road haulage, and international rail freight — all managed by Haubot.
Transit time depends on the route and mode: 2–7 days by air, 5–15 days by road within the region, and 15–40 days by sea, depending on destination.
Absolutely. We arrange transport for heavy and over-dimensional cargo using lowbed trailers, flat wagons, or RO-RO vessels, including all permits and escorts.
Yes. We consolidate cargo from multiple suppliers, provide container stuffing, and manage full container (FCL) or partial (LCL) shipments.
Yes. We provide milestone-based tracking and proactive updates throughout the shipment — from dispatch to final delivery.
Yes — through certified partners and subject to cargo classification, route approval and documentation review. Proper packaging, labelling and IATA DGR / ADR-compliant handling are arranged with vetted operators. Shipments that don't clear regulatory checks are declined.
Yes. We offer moisture barriers, anti-shock packaging, temperature control, and custom crating for fragile or high-value components.
Two things. First, we plan around the asset's physical and regulatory profile, not just dimensions on a shipping line — heavy machinery, sensitive electronics and dual-use cargo all need different routing. Second, our documentation flows through a controlled platform, so you don't end up with twelve different PDFs scattered across emails when you need to prove what was inspected, shipped or cleared.
Yes. Logistics can be bundled with any listing, auction or managed deal on Haubot — inspection reports, customs documents and delivery confirmations land in the same UnitVault as the transaction, and the timing is sequenced with payment and release. You can also order logistics standalone for shipments that don't touch the platform.
No. For Haubot Managed Auctions, logistics is part of the post-auction workflow when applicable — release coordination, transport and delivery documentation are handled in one flow. You only need to order standalone logistics if you're shipping something outside that auction.
We arrange ALL-RISK cargo insurance on request, based on the declared cargo value and route. For high-value or sensitive shipments insurance is strongly recommended and is normally included in the quote unless you explicitly opt out.
It depends on the leg. For air, ocean and rail segments the underlying carrier is the named airline / shipping line / rail operator. Where we use partner trucking, that partner is the contractual carrier for that leg. Haubot acts as freight forwarder and project coordinator end-to-end, owning the overall plan, documentation and accountability to you.
We screen counterparties, end-use and destinations before booking. For dual-use and military-adjacent equipment we coordinate ITAR/EAR/EU dual-use screening, prepare the necessary export licences or declarations, and decline shipments that don't clear. Documentation reflects the actual end-user and end-use.
Quote and booking confirmation, transport order, packing list, commercial invoice for customs, export declaration (EX1/EXA where applicable), CMR / B/L / AWB depending on mode, exit confirmation, destination customs clearance documents, and delivery confirmation with photos. All documents are gathered in a per-shipment UnitVault attached to your Haubot account — hashed, snapshotted and shareable. If the shipment is tied to a Haubot listing or auction, the same UnitVault is linked to that transaction so buyer and seller see the documents in context.
Yes. Independent or Haubot-led inspection at the origin yard or factory before loading is available on request — useful for confirming condition, completeness and accessories before equipment leaves the seller's site. The inspection report becomes part of the shipment's document set.
