Financing

Financing coordination for real-asset transactions — case preparation, partner introduction and structuring support. Haubot does not lend.

Haubot Financing is a coordination and transaction-support service. It helps buyers, sellers and transaction teams explore realistic financing routes for real assets, prepares a finance-ready case, and introduces suitable transactions to independent financial partners.

It is important to be precise about what it is not: Haubot is not a bank, lender, credit provider or financial institution. It does not provide financing directly, and it does not guarantee approval. Every financing decision is made by independent third-party institutions, subject to their own review, due diligence and approval.

What it actually does

The service works from the transaction outward — the asset, the parties, the jurisdictions and the structure first, rather than slotting a deal into a pre-defined product:

  • Reviews the asset, the transaction and the documentation that exists today.
  • Maps which financing routes realistically fit the asset class, the jurisdictions and the deal shape.
  • Prepares a finance-ready case — the asset, the transaction and the documents presented the way partners expect to see them.
  • Introduces the case to financial partners whose profile may suit the transaction, and supports the discussion.
  • Coordinates the inspection, valuation and due-diligence steps a partner needs to take its own review forward.

Why real-asset financing needs coordination

A financial partner is not lending against a description — it is lending against a physical asset, in a place, with a history, that has to be moved, owned and, if necessary, recovered. Asset condition, ownership history, identifiers, inspection status, valuation, jurisdiction, registration, currency, insurance, enforceability and the timing of payment and title transfer can each shape whether a transaction is financeable.

External financing often stalls not because the asset is weak, but because the case is incomplete or not finance-ready. Coordination is about closing that gap before partners are approached.

It is broad across sectors

Financing coordination spans many real-asset sectors — aviation, marine and offshore, energy and power generation, industrial and production assets, transport and logistics, agriculture and forestry, oil and gas, government and institutional assets, and specialized commercial assets. Whether a specific asset is suitable depends on jurisdiction, documentation and partner appetite, and is assessed case by case.

On-platform and off-platform

Like the other services, Financing supports both transactions running on the Haubot platform and deals negotiated entirely off-platform. If the asset is listed on Haubot, available platform data can support the discussion directly. Off-platform deals typically require more documentation from the parties to reach the same finance-ready standard.

How it connects to the other services

A finance-ready case is rarely built from one source. Haubot Inspect produces the independent condition record a partner needs for a used or specialized asset; UnitVault handles the documentation and verification side; SecureTrade can structure how and when funds and title move; and Logistics supplies the delivery route and timing a financing structure often has to align with.

What it does not do

  • It does not provide credit, loans or leasing directly.
  • It does not guarantee that any transaction will be financed.
  • It does not make, influence or override the partner's financing decision.
  • It does not provide legal, tax, accounting or investment advice.
  • It does not offer a way around KYC, sanctions screening or lender due diligence.
